Instructions for ordering editorial services:

  1. Choose your preferred level of editorial revisions:
    • simple proofreading
    • basic copy editing
    • extensive rewriting
    • website design
  2. Count the words in your text (including footnotes) and calculate payment.

    How to count?

    In Word, see the Tools menu / Word Count.

    Count Footnotes separately, via the View / Footnotes window.


  3. Complete the online order form. Credit card payment may also be made by phone or email.

How do editorial revisions show up in the manuscript?
In matters of basic grammar, I will make revisions for you, according to what standard usage requires. Suggested changes are incorporated directly into your text. To give you the option of reviewing each change alongside the original wording, I apply highlighting through Word's "Track Changes" feature. In cases where I don't have enough information to suggest the appropriate change, I'll insert a comment with my question or suggestion. These also are highlighted so that you can make the final changes.
